Creamy Adobo Shreds


Play around with this easy Adobo recipe. This is a different take on the usual Filipino Adobo dish but in a way that your family will still love.

Serves: 6-8 pax


INGREDIENTS:
1 kg kasim, cubed
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 sachet 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
cooking oil for frying
1/4 - 1/2 cup NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream

PROCEDURE
Boil kasim in vinegar, soy sauce, water and chopped garlic. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Simmer uncovered over low heat for 30-45 minutes or until pork is tender.
Remove from heat. Drain pork from sauce. Set aside sauce for later use. Allow the pork to cool and cut pork into big shreds.
Heat cooking oil. Pan-fry prepared shredded pork until brown and crispy.
Pour in saved adobo sauce and simmer until sauce is reduced. Add cream and continue simmering until sauce is slightly thick.
Serve on top of rice.
