Do you know how versatile the Adobo dish is? Here is a take on this favorite Filipino dish with gata! Yes! Coconut cream goes well with Adobo too. If you have not tried it, here is one of my favorite recipes to use.
Serves: 4-6 pax
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp cooking oil
3 cloves garlic minced
1 medium onion minced
1/4 k pork liver
1 kg pork liempo, cut into serving pieces or 1 kg beef, cut into serving pieces
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups cubed pineapple
2 packs MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
1 cup coconut cream or kakang gata
1 piece each red & green bell pepper cubed
PROCEDURE
Heat cooking oil. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add onion and cook until translucent.
Add meats, vinegar and water. Bring to boil; continue cooking and simmer until pork is tender. It will take longer cooking time if cooking beef.
When meats are tender add pineapple. Season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP.
Pour in coconut cream. Simmer until almost dry. Add peppers and remove from heat.
